Quantitative UX Researcher (m/f)
Free Now is seeking a User Experience Researcher to help us develop new features and services based on deep insights from our users’ behaviors and needs.

What’s the job?
- You will identify and prioritize research studies, design studies and develop hypotheses examining users’ behaviors, needs, and attitudes. Every study is different, so you’ll use a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, and you will work with your research team in our offices in Berlin, Hamburg and Barcelona to create understanding.
- Your responsibility is to identify the substance of what we observed, synthesize findings utilizing results from Usage Data and User Surveys, and communicate research results to different stakeholders to amplify their impact.
- We value learning highly, so expect to evangelize tools and best practices to empower product managers, designers and developers to conduct research, and mentor or coach other user researchers
- As a qualified candidate, you have an incredible attention to detail, and the drive to deliver. You can see the impact of each product change on the overall experience and help drive our design decisions based on this.
- You have experience testing mobile (native apps) and web, and you can understand what it takes to deliver a highly local product in European markets.
- You are comfortable working closely with passionate designers, product owners, marketing managers and developers driven by a single goal, delivering the best experience to our users. You’re an excellent communicator and a flexible team player and only your curiosity to learn from other perspectives is greater than your drive to make sure our users’ needs are being met.
Your profile:
- 3+ years of experience in a research role.
- Broad experience of qualitative research methods.
- You are familiar with quantitative research methods, comfortable with surveys, metrics and A/B tests, and are able to synthesize quantitative data with qualitative user research.
- You are comfortable planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research.
- Ability to think big and understand complex feature sets.
- You are a great storyteller and communicator, able to speak fluently to business people, designers, engineers and other stakeholders (in English).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- You are confident to carry out research in both English and Spanish, proficiency in other languages (GER, PT, PL) is a plus.
