Operations Improvement Manager

The Operations Improvement Manager will be a local product ambassador, using data driven insights to help support strategic business and operational decisions, prioritise product & IT requests and report on their effectiveness in the market.  In this newly created cross-functional position you will have scope to shape the role within our growing team.

Your role:

• Own, drive & deliver on innovative, market changing projects. Working cross-functionally to make this happen.
• Become the key interface to central FREE NOW departments and project teams in Hamburg, Barcelona and our new development hub in Berlin.  
• As the Operations Improvement Manager you will gather market requests (feature, configuration, improvement to our products) and you will prioritise and communicate them to the relevant teams.
• Own and manage commercial project related KPIs and ensure delivery against our ambitious growth objectives.
• You will challenge market requests and qualify them on a quantitative and qualitative basis, building on market, environmental and business research including creating business cases.
• Become an expert in our business and data analysis systems to allow you to champion data driven decisions in cooperation with the central Business Intelligence team.
• You will assist with data-driven recommendations for improving the FREE NOW service in Ireland in both operations and our product. 
• In order to understand the needs of our local customers you execute market research and UX testing in cooperation with the central product marketing and design teams.
• You will manage bug reporting to the tech department in product quality processes.
• You will communicate feature releases into the markets and manage their roll out with local marketing and operational teams.

Your Profile

• Degree educated or suitable and relevant equivalent
• You thrive in a fast-paced, always-on, constantly-changing startup environment.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing and personable you have the ability to think on your feet and work independently and also proactively work with others to find solutions to issues.
• You understand how to engage and influence decision makers and have excellent communication skills 
• Driven - you are motivated to find solutions to problems and constantly go the extra mile
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with handling data, you will be proficient in using Excel 
• Familiarity with agile and project management methodologies preferred
• You have a keen interest in emerging technology. particularly apps/mobile
