HR Mobility Specialist (m/f/d)

 

As Mobility Specialist (m/f/d) you support our People Services Team in our HQ in Hamburg. With a lot of passion and motivation you support the end-to-end mobility experiences across relocation, immigration and mobility tax for our (new) employees. The person in this hands-on role will have a mobility and/or employment tax background and partner closely with HRBP’s, Recruiting, People Administration, Legal, Payroll, and others to ensure a seamless mobility experience.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day interactions with mobility vendors across all countries to ensure a smooth experience for our people
  • You are responsible for any tax and social security related questions of our employees
  • Respond to inquiries related to tax, immigration, and relocation raised by our employees, provide 1:1 consultation with our employees and cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex cases
  • Relocation budget planning and tracking
  • You cooperate with the local teams and our HR Business Partner to solve possible tax and social security challenges
  • Process optimization and improvements
  • You work on legal issues in regard to cross-border employment in cooperation with our external and internal lawyers and tax consultants (introduction of new regulations, revision of contracts, etc.)
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams and external supplier partners to develop process and system improvements
  • Maintain our knowledge base content on our confluence sites
  • Support projects and initiatives across the people department

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed bachelor’s degree in the area of Business Administration or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in Global Mobility i.e., relocation, immigration and/or mobility tax
  • Eagerness to learn
  • High motivation to ensure a highly satisfactory employee experience (even before the start date)
  • Strong intercultural communication skills
  • You work precisely as well as independently and handle competing priorities with ease
  • You are proactive and love to face new challenges every day
  • Ability to handle complex, ambiguous situations exercising judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Highly proficient in English spoken and written, further European language skills are a plus, but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of HCM Systems, preferably Workday
  • Joy in building something new and creating the future with us
