Tableau Server Administrator (m/f)

Your Role:

• Maintain Tableau Server to ensure accessibility, reliability and performance
• Support BI Analyst team and tableau users to get the most out of Tableau as an analytics platform
• Build and optimise dashboards and data sources using SQL and Tableau to allow self service reporting of product features, campaigns and KPIs
• Document and maintain structure of Tableau and redash reporting platforms
• Educate end users to expand their capabilities to make data driven decisions using the self service tools we provide
• Identify data requirements of the business and translate into functional requirements for data engineers and help improve data platform performance
• Ensure GDPR compliance

Your profile:

• Degree in relevant field
• Experience in working in a data driven analytics environment including an understanding of how to engage and influence decision makers and provide training
• Tableau Server performance tuning and AWS instance specification
• Managing a Tableau Server environment (preferably cloud based). Monitoring performance of  data sources, extracts and workbooks in Tableau Server
• Good analytical skills, lateral thinking and experience in solving highly challenging problems
• Good knowledge of SQL and query optimization
• Experience working with different types of data such as ETL, transactional, event streams, app tracking. Hadoop ecosystem experience is a plus
• Good communication skills, team orientated and also able to work independently
• Fluent in business english
