All FREE NOW drivers with an electric vehicle are eligible for a £2,000-per-year subsidy payment from FREE NOW, subject to terms and conditions.
If you have an electric vehicle, you’ll also receive offers when passengers specifically request an electric vehicle, as well as receiving standard passenger requests. On average, electric car drivers earn almost £500 per month from trips where a passenger specifically requests an electric vehicle.
Plus, FREE NOW’s electric car drivers get over 40% more tips than petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicle drivers on average.
Finally, electric vehicles are exempt from both the congestion charge and ULEZ. This could save you up to £2,500 per year in congestion charge fees.
This means that you can earn more with an electric taxi or black cab, thanks to the FREE NOW subsidy, more trip offers, extra tips and fewer fees for the congestion charge and ULEZ.
