In this coffee chat with Alexander Bräutigam, Head of Partnerships, he shares his journey, the exciting challenges that drive him, and what makes FREENOW such a rewarding place to work.
Thanks for taking the time to chat with us! To kick things off, what’s a unique fact about yourself that most people don’t know?
During a normal work day, I jump on meetings in four or five different languages.
That’s impressive! Let's dive into your FREENOW journey. What is your professional background, when did you join and what’s your role here?
After completing my business studies in Berlin, Paris, London and Shanghai I moved to Barcelona, where I worked in Digitalization in the Energy Sector. I joined FREENOW in 2021 as Business Development Manager in the Partnerships team and I'm now working as Head of Partnerships for FREENOW across all our markets. Our team takes care of all new exciting alliances related to integrations of shared mobility providers, marketing partnerships, integrations of our taxi services into other platforms as well as strategic partnerships in the domain of driver supply.
What a fascinating journey! What are some of the unique challenges or exciting aspects of your role?
The Partnerships Team is a diverse team that works on strategic projects in a highly dynamic environment. We're constantly changing our scope and have to be very entrepreneurial to have the biggest impact for the company. Each partnership is one-of-a-kind and brings new unique challenges, so there is never a boring moment!
What’s your favorite aspect about working at FREENOW?
The aspects I appreciate the most are the intercultural work environment with people from many different countries, cultures and backgrounds as well as the space that we're given to pro-actively take on opportunities we think are worth pursuing.
